Hallstead/Great Bend Rod and Gun Association is located in the heart of Northeastern Pa, conveniently located a few miles from interstate I-81. The club was originally founded in the 1940's as a hunting and fishing club. Over many decades, the club provided hunter safety programs along with trap, archery and indoor .22 rifle competitions.
In recent years, the club transitioned its primary focus to introducing and educating people in the shooting sports with an emphasis on gun safety. Beginner training is available for anyone wanting to get involved in the shooting sports. The club has many members that are certified instructors or range safety officers.
Today, the facility offers outdoor pistol and rifle ranges, an indoor .22 rimfire range, as well as two ATA Certified trap fields! To become a member and support the association please contact one of our directors for more information. If you would like to see the facility, or if you have questions, please call or email us. We would be happy to help.
